Solar farms turn sunlight into clean, renewable electricity at scale. They cut carbon emissions, support local communities, and help New Zealand reach its renewable energy goals—making solar a key part of a sustainable energy future.

Organised by the University of Auckland’s Geothermal Institute as part of their month-long Renewable Energy Project Management course, the visit was supported by New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Delegates from Indonesia, Timor Leste, Laos, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar joined us—many noting the field trip as a highlight of their time in Aotearoa.
